Been busy busy lately

Sorry I have not been blogging lately. I have been going to all the doctors with my hubby. He has a mass on his brain and they have sent him to a bunch of doctors to have it checked out. Today we spent all day at the hospital with him doing test to make sure he is healthy enough for the surgery they have to do to remove it. We will have to wait for a call from the doctor now to see where we go from here. All this waiting is driving us crazy.
Have some tomatoes left, we are getting from one half to one dozen each day. They have been great. We have bunches green ones left. Sure hope it doesn't get real cold before they turn red.

Tomato Garden

Haven't had much chance to be in the yard and garden this week do to medical problems my hubby and I have. This week has been spent seeing doctors and going for test. Hope most of that is over for a few weeks.
Was checking on my tomato garden this morning, some pictures of it. I have some tomatoes on two of the early girl tomato plants and some on one of the Better boy plants. Should not be long before we have some tomatoes to eat.

No work!

No work done yesterday just a day to walk around enjoying all the beauty of the yard. Also time to throw my garden buddy"s ball for him. He loves to catch a tennis ball when he isn't watching me work in the garden.

June 16,2009

Got yard work done yesterday, and grand daughter mowed lawn in afternoon. It all looks nice.
I got 5 more strawberries from my strawberry patch. They are not doing as good this year as last year, but I am thinking it because we are having a lot of rain and it is not as hot this year in June.
Wild Rose in bloom
It is suppose to rain today and for the rest of the week glad the work is done for another week. This morning I took pictures of the wild rose beside my pond now that it is in bloom. Also have a picture of my gardening helper/buddy. He is always right with me. I can talk to him and he doesn't talk back. My husband is not a gardener, he likes to see the pretty flowers but doesn't care for the work to get them.

Sunday June 14 2009

Today was a good day. Spent the day sitting on deck enjoying the nice weather. I was going to mow lawn but my grand daughters told me they would do it for me tomorrow after work, so I will do the triming and weeding tomorrow morning. Can't refuse help when it is offered free of charge.

I don't know if I will write here everyday will have to wait and see how it goes.
